A total of 2,33,294 candidates appearing for Level 1 (PRT) Level 2 (TGT) and Level 3 (PGT) can now download their admit card using their Registration Number and Date of Birth Password.

  • There is no upper age limit for HTET exam.
  • A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for SC, BC and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana domicile.

HTET 2026 Exam Pattern Level-wise

All three levels of the HTET 2026 exam share a common structure 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs) carrying 150 marks to be completed in 2 hours and 30 minutes 150 minutes. The exam is conducted in offline pen and paper mode using an OMR answer sheet. The question paper is bilingual Hindi and English except for language specific papers.

There is NO negative marking in the HTET exam. Candidates should attempt all 150 questions.

HTET 2026 Qualifying Passing Marks

To receive the HTET eligibility certificate candidates must score the following minimum marks

The HTET certificate once earned is valid for a lifetime and is accepted for teaching appointments in government and government aided schools across Haryana.

Special Rule for 2026: BSEH has warned that if a candidate leaves more than 20 OMR questions blank the examination may be cancelled for that candidate. Attempt all questions since there is no negative marking.

Important Exam Day Instructions HTET 2026

  • Read all instructions printed on the admit card carefully before reaching the centre.
  • Report to the examination centre at least 90 minutes before the exam start time.

HTET Answer Key 2026 BSEH will release the provisional answer key on bseh.org.in within a few days of the exam. Candidates can raise objections against the answer key within the stipulated period by paying a nominal objection fee.
