- Visit the official website jeeadv.ac.in
- Click on the “JEE Advanced 2026 Result” link on the homepage
- Enter your JEE Advanced Registration Number
- Enter your Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
- Enter your Registered Mobile Number
- Click “Submit” your result dashboard will open
- Click “Check Result” to view your Paper 1, Paper 2 and total marks along with your AIR
- Once the scorecard PDF link is activated download and save multiple copies
Note: Unlike the registration phase, the result portal does not require a password only registration number, date of birth and mobile number. Scorecard PDF download link will be activated within a few hours of result declaration. The scorecard is also expected to be available on DigiLocker via digilocker.gov.in.

When two or more candidates score equal aggregate marks, ranks are determined in this order:
- Candidate with higher positive marks gets a higher rank
- If still tied → candidate with higher Mathematics marks gets higher rank
- If still tied → candidate with higher Physics marks gets higher rank
- If still tied → same rank is assigned to both candidates

What To Do RIGHT NOW After JEE Advanced 2026 Result
If You Qualified
Step 1 — Download scorecard immediately Save your JEE Advanced 2026 scorecard from jeeadv.ac.in. Print at least 4–5 copies needed for JoSAA counselling, document verification and IIT reporting.
Step 2 — Register for JoSAA 2026 opens June 2 JoSAA 2026 counselling registration opens tomorrow June 2, 2026 at josaa.nic.in. Do not delay early registration and careful choice filling are critical.
Step 3 — AAT registration if B.Arch is your goal If you want B.Arch admission at IITs, register for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) at jeeadv.ac.in by June 2, 2026. The AAT exam is on June 4, 2026.
Step 4 — Start choice filling strategy Research previous year JoSAA opening and closing ranks for your target IITs and branches. Be realistic fill 15–25 choices in strategic order reach → realistic → safe.
If You Did Not Qualify
Option 1 — JoSAA counselling via JEE Main score Non-qualifiers can still participate in JoSAA 2026 using their JEE Main 2026 score for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
Option 2 — State-level counselling Use your JEE Main score for state counselling MHT CET (Maharashtra), KCET (Karnataka) AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, etc.
Option 3 — Re-attempt JEE Advanced 2027 JEE Advanced allows maximum 2 attempts. If this was your first attempt you can appear again in 2027. Use the next year to target a stronger score.
